Melodifestivalen (direct translation: The Melody Festival) is an annual music competition organised by Swedish public broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT). The competition is a six part tour (5 heats + the final) with stops in cities across Sweden to determine the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. Melodifestivalen is also known informally as "Mello", or internationally as "Melfest".

Five celebrities spend five days together on a castle somewhere in Sweden. Each episode (or day) centres around one of them. This person decides what to to and eat. The others get the chance to ask questions about this persons life and career.

Sommarkrysset is a Swedish television program that is broadcast live from the Gröna Lund amusement park in Stockholm during summer. It was first shown on June 3, 2005. The program consists of live performances by famous artists in front of a live audience while viewers can call in and win a certain amount of money. To have the chance to win this money, the viewer first has to figure out a word which is derived by entering the answers to questions on a piece of graph paper with 5x5 squares like a crossword. The program is produced by Baluba Television after a TV-format created by Baluba. The Lotto draw is usually broadcast live with Ulrika Bengtsson as a presenter, although others have presented the draw at times. Over a longer period, Annika Duckmark has been a regular presenter.

Bianca decides to get to know the greatness and driving forces of her father, the hockey legend. She wants to understand and take with her what made Börje Salming the best in the world, one of Sweden’s most beloved sports personalities and a beloved husband, brother and father. The series follows Bianca Salming’s life and sports career from November 2021 to September 2023. During that time, Börje Salming falls ill and dies of ALS, then follows Bianca’s struggle to move on in life and her sports career without her father.

The skier Tonje always fall in love with a Sámi. Why? Jon is adopted from Colombia and joiks a lot. Thomas and Petra plan for their future. Ritva loves horseback riding. Amanda likes theatre and politics. Vocalist Sandra wonders how much Sámi she is. Johan is brought up in a religious home where music is prohibited. Aslak love scooters. Marit was bullied in school because she is a Sámi.

Behind the artist Jon Henrik Fjällgren's success hides a life edged by darkness, vulnerability and bullying. As a child he was adopted from Colombia to Mittådalen's Sami village and for the first time he is now traveling back to his hometown of Cali in Colombia. In the program he talks openly about his life and history. There will also be guerilla recordings with Greta Thunberg, a look behind the scenes at Melodifestivalen and everyday life among reindeer and mountains.
