The Mokhtar Narrative is an Epic/History television series directed by Davood Mirbagheri, based on the life of Al-Mokhtar. Over 140 actors were cast in it. Mokhtar Saqafi was a Shiite Muslim leader who sets up a rebellion movement in 686 A.D in the town of Kufa to avenge the martyrdom of Hussain (grandson of Islamic Prophet Muhammad).

A hundred and fourteen famous Iranian theater and cinema actresses and a French star: mute spectators at a theatrical representation of Khosrow and Shirin, a Persian poem from the twelfth century, put on stage by Kiarostami. The development of the text -- long a favorite in Persia and the Middle East -- remains invisible to the viewer of the film, the whole story is told by the faces of the women watching the show.

In the series, Yad Yad Fardat, Yadad Yaddat is the story of a man who chooses the escape route to get rid of the wounds of his past. This decision takes him on an emotional and challenging journey where the past and the present merge.
