In September 2023, Arjen Lucassen's 01011001 - Live Beneath the Waves sold out five performances at Poppodium 013 in Tilburg, The Netherlands. This live production, based on the critically acclaimed 2008 concept album 01011001, was performed in its entirety, followed by a number of encore songs. The stage came alive with an imposing backdrop, LED screens showcasing fantastic visuals, lasers, pyrotechnics, special effects, and a unique live surround sound experience – a setup that would be at home on Broadway or London's West End. Ayreon Universe is Ayreon live in concert for the first time ever, organized and arranged by Arjen A. Lucassen and Joost van den Broek. Blind Guardian intended to record a DVD since early 1998, however, due to the band's high requirements, no existing metal festival had been considered suitable. Instead, Blind Guardian decided to create their own festival, back in their homeland. The First Blind Guardian Festival was held in Coburg, Germany, at June 16–17, 2003. It lasted 2 days, with the band playing during both nights. The entire show has been professionally recorded and subsequently released on a DVD entitled Imaginations through the Looking Glass in June 14, 2004.

Prior to releasing the much lauded “The God Machine” opus in September 2022, BLIND GUARDIAN had been performing “Somewhere Far Beyond” in its entirety at Rock Hard Festival and Hellfest in Summer 2022 in front of ten thousands of fans singing along each track word by word, both shows were filmed and recorded professionally and aired via WDR and ARTE. This video is the official recording of Blind Guardian's performance at the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, Germany in June 2002.

Prior to releasing the much lauded “The God Machine” opus in September 2022, BLIND GUARDIAN had been performing “Somewhere Far Beyond” in its entirety at Rock Hard Festival and Hellfest in Summer 2022 in front of ten thousands of fans singing along each track word by word, both shows were filmed and recorded professionally and aired via WDR and ARTE. For the limited triple-disc-edition of “Somewhere Far Beyond Revisited” the Hellfest material was newly edited by the band’s long-time videographer Dirk Behlau using additional multi-cam footage. This video is the official recording of Blind Guardian's performance at Hellfest in Clisson, France in June 2002.
