The film progresses along two distinct but interwoven series of events. The first series involves young members of a family who have gathered round their old mother and revive their common childhood memories. the second line focuses on the old woman's preparations for her last journey and her joyous cooperation in arranging for the ceremonies that are to be observed after her death.

Kolah Ghermezi is a naughty school boy. His playfulness gets him expelled from school and he fails to find a job. He sees a program on TV which attracts his attention and he goes to Tehran. With the help of Pesarkhaleh, he goes to the TV program he had seen and finds the reporter. He likes the reporter so much that he decides to help him overcome the obstacles he faces for getting married, but instead causes troubles.

The film is all about marriage. A boy and a girl from two families want to get married, but for twenty years because of the differences between their parents either their engagement, or their wedding has been put of. The disagreements get more serious and finally the boy and the girl decide to commit suicide.

Actor-director Hamid Jebelli (Pastry Girl) offers a charming portrait of a mentally challenged man looking for love in a world that largely ignores him. Feeble-minded Reza works at a bridal shop where he transports wedding dresses on his old, rickety bicycle. Reza spends his time communing with his long-dead mother at the cemetery, or with a dress mannequin in the shop window. One day, not long after the mannequin loses its head, Reza's life changes when a beautiful woman, accompanied by her maid, arrives at the store looking for bridal veils.

During the abduction, he will help a girl, he meets, who has been held prisoner in her room for her entire life. After failing a course for several times, Kolah Ghermezi finally passes it and enters a higher level. He returns home and happily shows his marks to Aghaye Mojri and Narges; who are supposed to be his parents now. Aghaye Mojri promises to buy a bicycle for him as a gift. However, he does not have adequate money to buy that. The news of Kolah Ghermezi’s success is broadcasted on TV, then his uncle calls him and invites all of them to his luxurious house. He gives a nice and huge bicycle to Kolah Ghermezi as a gift.
