Shortly after Michael and Inga Lehnert and their kids Tommy and Tilly move into their new home in the countryside, Michael causes an accident in which the 20 years old Jule is seriously injured. Tormented by this Michael spends more and more time at the side of her bed in hospital, where she lies in a coma, neglecting his family and job. When Jule finally wakes up, they fall in love. Although her ex-boyfriend warns her that Michael does not realise that Jule is traumatized by a fear of him and will do anything to bind him to her.

A documentary about the artist Ella Bergmann-Michel, who was born in Paderborn in 1895 and died in Eppstein im Taunus in 1972. The film focuses primarily on her work: drawings and collages, photographs, and sequences from her documentary films from the late 1920s. The film brings together what is often mistakenly separated, namely the painter on the one hand and the documentary filmmaker on the other.

Lucy, who is already human-like, claims that the first humans were mothers: The mother built a nest to secure the child when it became too heavy to carry. This is how she invented the house. She penetrated the dense branches with her voice to maintain contact with the child. That's how she invented language. The film portrays the four young politicians Laura Isabelle Marisken, Aminata Touré, Gyde Jensen and Terry Reintke, who will help shape the future of Germany and the EU in the years to come. He moves back and forth between the different protagonists, draws fine lines between Brussels, Usedom, Kiel and Berlin and delivers a wide range of universal and big themes, packed in personal and intimate moments with the four strong and very different women, and shows how women’s politics works today, enthusiastic and engaged.

The white chalk cliffs of Rügen are among the most impressive natural monuments on earth, which the painter Casper David Friedrich immortalized for posterity as early as the 19th century. Germany's largest island with its seaside resorts from the Gründerzeit, its smaller side islands and peninsulas that give it its shape, its lagoon-like Bodden waters, the dense beech forests, the yellow rapeseed fields and the meadows, the shady tree avenues and the white sandy beaches is not only a magnet for tourists, but also a unique natural paradise in the middle of the Baltic Sea, a habitat for the rare white-tailed eagle, fallow deer, raccoon dogs and badgers as well as a resting place for huge swarms of migratory birds such as geese and cranes that can be heard trumpeting from afar. In this nature documentary, the unique landscapes and the diversity of the animal world of Rügen are captured with beautiful pictures during the changing of the seasons.

Decades ago, they were stranded in St. Pauli, fleeing the narrow confines of the petty bourgeoisie in search of work and a different, more unconventional life. They made their way through life as dancers or strippers, landlords or barmaids, sailors or pimps. During the day, they meet in their favorite pubs, the "Hong Kong" or the "Kaffeepause", to reminisce about earlier times.

In 1922, Max Ernst produced a painting entitled “The Rendezvous of Friends”. In surrealist style, it shows his friends from Paris - including Robert Desnos, Hans Arp, Paul Éluard and André Breton - all avant-gardists. The documentary follows the painting's journey from the artist's easel to the Museum Ludwig.

With its numerous interviews, the film is an inventory of current forms of resistance. It shows the strength, but also the weakness of the momentary disputes. The story, the practice and the discussion are described in the film – an exciting affair.
