Moscow, 1956. Yaroslav Kostrov, the boorish and quirky owner of a small transport company in Murmansk, by coincidence ends up in a Norwegian prison, where the comfort level resembles good hotels with all amenities and the Internet. A simple guy named Chest, because of his love for his village, Antonovka constantly gets into trouble. This time, he could not get past the acute problem — illegal pollution of territories with garbage. The trunk, realizing that the local government takes the position of "I don't see a problem, there is no problem," takes the initiative into its own hands and organizes a fishing championship to attract public attention. Four newly acquainted fellows must by any means fly to Moscow in non-flying weather, and a couple of young lovers must reconcile their irreconcilable parents by some mysterious way. Valera has to decide on a dilemma: to save mankind from the Deluge or just to fly with his karaoke-alien-friends in their old UFO? All these things can happen only once a year – on December, 31!
