She - an actress of the capital's theater and He - an acclaimed writer, decide to leave Poland. They emigrate to New York. Little did they think that, escaping the loans they took out in the belief of an eternal boom, they would end up locked in a small apartment in a neighborhood of dealers, prostitutes, thieves and artists. They slowly become slaves to the lies about their supposed success that they themselves spread online. Insomnia and anxiety make them paranoid.
