For the 70th anniversary of the EB climbing shoe brand, French climber Seb Bouin decided to tour France of the climbing routes that have marked the history of our sport. From 7a to 9a, the Vintage Rock Tour is a project that was born from the desire to rediscover historic climbing sites, the evolution of climbing styles but above all to be able to meet the actors who made the history of our sport. This is what Seb Bouin offers you, with major climbing sites revisited in the company of those who wrote their pages.

Nina Caprez and Cédric Lachat are passionate climbers. A passion they share and pushed them to become professionals. They travel around the world in search of walls and cliffs of exception. In Spring 2014 they set up camp beneath one of the most difficult multi-pitch routes in the world – Orbayu (2000 meters). Orbayu is a large limestone tooth which rises above the natural park of Picos de Europa in Spain. This huge wall is among the most beautiful in the world. It’s a mixture of extreme difficulty (8c). But the major problem with this type of wall lies in the fact that weather changes are very fast: rain, low temperatures, wind, etc… The ascent of such walls demand unusual experience. Nina and Cédric document joy, fear, danger, but also the beauty of climbing in Orbayu.

During a reconnaissance trip, Olivier Balma, a guide and instructor at CMDI, accompanies Erwan Le Lann into the Getu Valley, in the heart of Guizhou Province. They discover a practically untouched site with a unique giant arch filled with limestone tufas. The project takes shape with the agreement of the government and the Chinese Mountaineering Association. It takes a group of climbers two trips to put up 250 new routes of all levels. During the Petzl RocTrip, hundreds of Chinese and visiting climbers get together to climb these routes. The highlight of the event is when the Spaniard Dani Andrada sends his project, Corazon de Ensueno. In front of a big crowd, he frees the extremely difficult eight pitches, all tied in with his partner, Chris Sharma. Since then, the Getu Valley has become a prime climbing destination, thanks to the magnificent routes and to the warm and authentic hospitality of the valley's inhabitants.

Silbergeier is a long pitch route (8b+ max) built by Pietro del Pra in 1993 and organized by Beat Kammerlander. In this film, Nina Caprez achieves the first female ascent with her then partner Cédric Lachat. A beautiful production by Vladimir Cellier, carried by essential music.

The Queen Swing follows climbers Laura Pineau and Kate Kelleghan as they chase history on Yosemite’s granite walls, attempting to become the first women to complete the legendary Triple Crown: linking El Capitan, Half Dome, and Mount Watkins in a single 24-hour push. But this isn’t just a story about summits and speed records. It’s about what happens between two people when the only thing keeping you alive is the person on the other end of the rope. Through extreme conditions and risky terrain, the film reveals how trust gets built in increments through shared confidence, quiet encouragement, and the kind of vulnerability that only emerges when you’re too exhausted to pretend. The Crown is the goal, but the partnership is the heart of the climb.

Between music and climbing, the film Rockin' Cuba retraces the exploration of the Vinales Valley in Cuba by six Franco-Swiss climbers: Nina Caprez, Mélissa Le Nevé, Mike Fuselier, Enzo Oddo, Cedric Lachat and Seb Boussogne. The landscapes are magnificent, the images by Julien Nadiras sumptuous, the humor always around the corner and the work on the music by Vladimir Cellier, simply incredible.

When Katherine Choong suggested to her friend Éline Le Menestrel that they tackle the Zahir, a classic route in the Swiss Alps and a demanding gem of the Wendenstöcke, Éline agreed... on one condition: that they only use sustainable transport to get to the foot of the wall. As the days passed suspended on the rock, they realized the scale of the challenge: intense commitment, tiny holds, accumulated fatigue from cycling... every movement became a challenge.
