Super Animal War, titled the Super Sentai 40th Anniversary Work Original Drama, is a special Blu-Ray miniseries of Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger. The chronology of Super Sentai may, at last, be at an end. A boy has arrived from the future to save the earth from catastrophe. The Ninningers come across a new enemy, Dark Doctor Mavro, a remnant of the Shadow Line, who created his own, evil version of Aka Ninger serving under him by stealing the real Aka Ninger's Nintality, and because of it, Takaharu's life is now in danger. All hope seems lost until the Ninningers meet the ToQgers, who fought and defeated the Shadow Line in the past, and it's up to them to join forces in order to overcome this new crisis.

While on a work trip, 37-year-old Sakurai meets 19-year-old art student Yoichi in a quiet, charming house—sparking an unexpected connection across generations.

The Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger Final Live Tour 2017 is a live show that was performed across Japan in March and April of 2017, acting as a final farewell for the cast. It comprises two parts: a scripted show part, and a talk show with the cast. The Kyurangers also appear.
