The tenth edition of Polish Pride parades a colorful trail of rainbow flags through the streets of Warsaw. Along the route, Antek and his friends line up to warn of the “pink threat” in prayer and edifying hymns. As traditional Catholics, he and his Brotherhood hold deeply conservative views: sex before marriage is out of the question, homosexuality can be cured, abortion is a great evil and Poland is for the Poles. His sister thinks his homophobic ranting is pointless, because in a few years the planet will be destroyed anyway as nobody is doing anything about climate change.

Food, medicine, weapons and ammunition. During the war, the young Antonietta transported all this at night in a heavy backpack to her partisan group in the mountains at great risk. She breaks her silence about this time because she fears that her memories of the resistance will die with her.

Since Norma's partner disappeared nothing seems normal. Her son Lenny is growing up too fast. Norma's life as a single mom is a daily struggle – while in her sleep she is haunted by her missing Henri. One morning Norma wakes up to find herself pregnant. Is she losing her grip on reality or is there more to her lucid dreams?

Tamás lives in Zurich, alone— by choice. He has never wanted to get too close to people. All this changes when he meets Norika, a beautiful woman who appears in his life almost by chance. Before he knows it, Tamás has been implicated in Norika's disappearance by her sister Annika, who claims Tamás had made a habit of following them. Reality seems to shift based on each person's perspective, casting the nature of the crime into progressively murky territory.

A group of sailors settle on a tiny island in the Baltic Sea, lured by its beauty and promise of paradise. When they eventually realize that their dreams are doomed to fail, they return to the mainland where a harsh reality awaits them.
