Terápia is HBO Europe’s Hungarian adaptation of the Israeli award-winning TV drama series BeTipul (In Treatment), part of a series of adaptations that also includes Romanian, Czech and Polish versions. It explores one of the defining features of modern society, therapy, as seen through the eyes of a psychiatrist whose professional and personal life is on the verge of collapse.

Alíz and Máté get romantically involved, even though they both have families. But the outbreak of the pandemic, rewrites the rules of their newly formed relationship. They must decide: is it just a flare, or is it real love? And if it is love, do they have the right to sacrifice others happiness for theirs?
