Cliff Gardner is a post-conviction specialist in criminal cases. He started his own law firm in 1981, based in Berkeley, California. Gardner is part of the legal team that presented new evidence in the case of Erik and Lyle Menendez, who were convicted in 1996 of first-degree murder for killing their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez.
