SINGER, formerly known as I AM A SINGER, is a large-scale singing competition program co-produced by Hunan Broadcasting System (HBS) and Mango TV. The first four seasons were adapted from the Korean reality show I Am a Singer produced by MBC. Beginning with the 2017 season, the program was rebranded as SINGER. The series brings together established vocalists from the Chinese music industry as well as internationally renowned artists to compete on stage. In each episode, the results are determined by a panel of 500 in-studio audience judges who vote to decide the singers’ rankings and eliminations. Starting with the 2024 season, the show shifted from pre-recorded broadcasts to fully live performances and introduced an additional panel of 500 online international audience judges.

Sing! China (Chinese: 中国好声音; pinyin: Zhōngguó Hǎo Shēngyīn; formerly Chinese: 中国新歌声; pinyin: Zhōngguó Xīn Gēshēng) is a Chinese singing competition television series broadcast on Zhejiang Television. It is produced by Star (CM) Holdings Ltd.[1] It premiered during the summer on 15 July 2016. It is a re-branded version of The Voice of China, a show based on the original The Voice of Holland. It has aired seven seasons and aims to find new singing talent (solo or duets, professional and amateur) contested by aspiring singers, aged 18 or older (16 or older in seasons one and two), drawn from public auditions. In Taiwan, a young woman, Lin-Lang, is released from prison after serving ten years for terrorist activity. An evil wizard finds King Solomon's magic lantern, but Solomon's curse prevents him from taking it - only someone born the same month, same day and same hour as Solomon can take it. That someone is Ali Baba, a poor, kind-hearted lad who lives with his brother, Ali Mama (Eric Tsang). When Ali Baba sees the 40 thieves enter their hideout and learns the ritual needed for entrance, he steals some gold and jewels. The 40 find out and capture Ali Baba, but he is saved by the evil wizard and taken to retrieve the magic lantern. Ali Baba releases the genie...and you know the story. It all culminates in a chase, the wizard on a flying horse and Ali Baba on his flying carpet.
