Biography
Emilio Alfaro Garcia was a writer of films, novels, and plays from Zaragoza, Spain. He abandoned his career as a medical doctor to focus on his literary interests. In the early 1960s, he wrote experimental art films for the director José Luis Pomarón, before founding the company Moncayo Films, which produced more mainstream thrillers. In the later years of his life, he worked as an activist for the left-wing PSOE party.

Culpable para un delito

A man finds a metal ring in a pile of scrap metal that matches the size of his head to crown himself king of the place. An unwelcome beggar arrives and finds another, shiny, and more royal crown. The "king" observes it and is envious of the symbol; he cannot allow anyone to try to take his place. He attempts to seize it, and they fight to the death. The "king," triumphant, keeps the crown.
