Biography
Adam Kritzer (b. 1988) is a filmmaker, musician, writer and educator. Out of college, he was hired by his mentor, the theatre director Peter Sellars, to collaborate on a film adaptation of the stageplay "Desdemona" by Toni Morrison. Adam's movies have screened at top festivals, including SXSW, TIFF and CPH PIX. In 2025, he founded a production and distribution newslabel, AMAUTEUR, which releases and writes about independent movies and music. He lives in New York City with his partner-in-crime and their schnauzer, Upton Sinclair.
