Two friends (Thanasis Vengos and Vasilis Diamantopoulos) meet after many years and recollect the tragi-comic events they went through during the German occupation.

After finding out about the affair between young farmer and his spoiled daughter, the landlord persecutes the former, takes away his family's rented vineyard and wine barrels, de facto dismantling this family. The young man returns on his father's funeral, and meets his old love again.

Four people in love, a young artist with a gypsy woman, as well as another couple, must overcome social barriers and rivalries.

Two young people from Zakynthos have to deal with difficult situations due to the attitudes of the local community. In the end, they will manage to live happily ever after.
