Follows the party worker who gave up his own child, and a young woman who left her baby in the garbage. After 19 years, it can be seen that the same boy and his mother are living together in a drug dispensary.

The Russian Descendant of the Snow Leopard is based on a famous Kirghizian folktale. Apparently the Kirghizian folks had plenty of time to tell this story: to print a full synopsis would result in a novelette. Essentially, the story involves a proud group of highland hunters called the Snow Leopards, who in order to survive a brutal winter must request help from the Lowland people. The price for this assistance is the hand of the Snow Leopard's daughter, who is promised in marriage to a wealthy Lowland trader. During the Springtime wedding celebration, the trader becomes fascinated by a stranger who wins all the athletic contests. This "male" contestant turns out to be a woman, who has arrived to seek freedom for her imprisoned husband. The subsequent romance between the trader and the beautiful stranger results in disaster and bloodshed for both the Snow Leopards and the Lowlanders.

Kalman, released from the colony under an amnesty, turns out to be the only one who comes to the aid of a woman whose child was kidnapped...

Sultanmurat is a 14 year old boy who lives in a small Kyrgyz village. All the men have gone off to war so he is left alone to tend to the horses who are weak with hunger.

When the war broke out, two brothers—Askhat and Murat—left for the front. Only Askhat returned home. Murat, however, was taken prisoner; he ended up in Germany, where he was recruited into an intelligence school. After the war, he lived in the West. Thirty-five years later, Murat—now an agent for the anti-Soviet émigré community—returned to his native village as a tourist. His former fiancée, Bermet, had married Askhat, and the couple was now raising their grandchildren. Upon learning that Bermet had given birth to a daughter back during the war, Murat realized that both the daughter and the grandchildren were his. Yet, he made no claims to them; instead, he silently accepted the role of a mere observer—and in that capacity, he returned to Munich.

Amanat, who was abandoned by his mother and grew up with his grandparents after his father's death. By the will of fate, having gone to the city to watch amateur performances, he meets with his mother. The maternal feeling was stirred up at the meeting and the mother tries in every possible way to atone for her son, wants to find his attention and love.

Adyl Sultanov is accused of involvement in a department store robbery case. The hero, confident in his innocence, nevertheless does not immediately trust the young lawyer and for some time loses hope, but soon begins to understand that he is under the protection of a principled professional who will certainly restore justice.

At the center of the film is the character of Asan, a collective farm foreman. Asan is a principled man who makes many enemies among the lazy, drunkards, and dishonest people. As a result of these rumors, Asan is dismissed from his position, but this does not break him. He continues to act according to his conscience.
