Arisa is fascinated by humans. So much so that she leaves the magic world. But the broom she uses is faulty and she winds up in Japan. There she meets Joji Matsui who works at an advertising agency. Joji has been assigned by his boss Ichio Suzuki the difficult task of winning over Shiori Nomo who is in charge of corporate communications at a client. However a little word from Arisa helps Joji win over Shiori and his agency gets the opportunity to pitch. Arisa and Joji fall in love and marry. Arisa swears never to use magic again as she and Joji begin their strange witch/human married life.
Tomoe, 17, is an average high-school girl, interested in clothes and guys, but her family life is not so average. Losing her mother at a young age, she lives alone with her father, Shouhei and does all the cooking, laundry, housekeeping, like a mother would do. They have a hard time making ends meet, because Shouhei's only income is from working as a judo teacher to the neighborhood kids. Tomoe can't wait to go to the university to get away from her father, and judo which she hates. But because of her father's unfortunate arrest, she is forced to take over at the dojo. With help from the captain of her high school's judo team, Tomoe begins to teaching the few kids who still come to learn judo, and even start practicing the judo that she gave up as a child. This heartwarming family drama will entertain kids and adults alike.
Masaki Takasugi worked at a department store before starting COCOMO, a small film distribution company. Now the owner of his own company, Masaki travels around the world in search of outstanding films that are yet to be discovered. Not so long ago, one film that Masaki purchased and distributed became a mega hit, but that was where his luck ran out. Now, his company is suffering from financial difficulties, and will probably go under in less than a year. For Masaki, nothing is more important than work. So when it comes to the question of marriage, his answer is, "it can wait."
33-year old Oshima Chiharu is a career woman in the Sales and Planning Department of a hotel. During her 20's, Chiharu worked day and night to achieve her current position and luxurious lifestyle. She won't let anybody interfere with her career and romance. All is going well, until 25-year-old Mihara Natsumi throws down the gauntlet to Chiharu. Everybody including Chiharu had thought that Natsumi was just a girl with no brains. But actually, once she sets her mind to something, she can achieve anything. She is good at learning foreign languages, and is prepared to use her sex appeal to entrap and exploit men. What's more, since Natsumi was brought up in a poor fatherless home, her desire to climb the ladder of success is strong. She knows that the only way she'll get a chance is to outperform Chiharu and snatch away her post. That's exactly what Natsumi decides to do
