In the mid-1960s, Kostas left his village in Crete dreaming of becoming a star. His rugged physique and humble background afforded him only small “tough-guy” roles, yet in numerous Greek films – from big studio productions and renowned auteur masterpieces to low-budget exploitation films alike. By placing a support actor at centerstage, the film traces five decades of Greek cinema.

In the early 70s Greek cinema entered in a period of crisis. One of its aspects was said "crisis of issues" and one of the exits heard in the name "erotic cinema". The genre was already acquaintance from the abundance of foreigner films, that was distributed in the grindhouses under the "adults only" motto and its Greek version had a lot of variants.

Savvas, a fifty-five-year old man, witnesses the gradual collapse of everything that he has been building his whole life. Why did things go so wrong? What can be done now? People around his shop are constantly changing. He worries about his daughter’s future. “As long as we’ are alive and well, you have nothing to fear.”

An ex cop arrives in Athens after the murder of his wife. Approached by the chief of police, he reluctantly agrees to help take down a mafia ring. Thus begins a circle of blood that becomes more and more violent as the hero goes deeper into the case. When he is asked to abandon his mission, he refuses; nothing seems able to stop the violent outburst of a man desperately looking for catharsis

Vangelis, a remnant of the rave party generation of the late 90s, sells weed for a living. Wants a steady job, no risks involved. Petros, a smalltime gangster. Wants a family. Demands respect. Katerina unwillingly brings them together under the same roof.

Yannis (15) and his mother are moving in at her boyfriend’s apartment. Yannis starts hanging out with Olga (40), a socially secluded hard rock woman who lives in the basement of his apartment building. Simultaneously, he associates with a group of teenagers, the leader of which bullies Olga whenever he sees her.

Mark Avgeris (the new giant of action Dimitris Polydouri) is the Greek wrestling champion. The syndicate pushes him to participate in match-fixing. When he refuses, his wife (Angela Metaxa- "The Remaliah of Athens") falls prey to wild rape and murder. After the devastating this blow, Mark falls in heroin, wanders in dirty Athens and do everything for the dose. The syndicate of murderers but not yet say his last word. They want the champion back, whatever the cost. Meanwhile Marco with the help of a cop (played by the cult star Notis Pitsilos) cuts the pinch and is becoming a merciless avenger.
