Biography

Bangladeshi filmmaker Ashique Mostafa studied film direction and production at the School of Visual Arts in New York. As his graduation film, he made Phulkumar (2002) that was shot in Bangladesh. He subsequently established the Khona Talkies production company and has produced a number of critically acclaimed films. Now Ashique is working on his first observational documentary feature film which is in the post-production stage. He wants to use the camera as a pen to write poetry and visual essays.
