In the desert of Egypt, Kurata, the CEO of the Japanese corporation Tokokaihatsu, is killed by a sniper. This is witnessed by two detectives, Tsuzuki and Ōnuki, but they fail to catch the perps. Yamamoto hands the detectives a set of keys before he stops breathing. No new footage was taken, and everything was spliced together from previously shot 8mm film. When I've been shooting 8mm for this long, I often forget what kind of memories I've taken. When I took it out and looked at it in a viewer, I saw my friend, who had already died, smiling happily. My friend, who I don't know if he's still alive, is also smiling.
