Pa a Pi is animated educational TV show, depicting adventures of extraterrestrial cats Pa and Pi during their visit on Earth. Show was created in 1986 to 1989 and consist from animated and acted sequences. Each episode presents one animal. Show was designed by Miroslav Duša, animated by Dalimil Koutek and directed by Miroslav Sobota, Dalimil Koutek (animated part) and Václav Pavel Borovička. Title song written by Karel Svoboda, sung by Marika Gombitová in slovak version. Show was created in studio Prométheus Ostrava in cooperation with german GOLD-FILM Gmbh Pforzheim.
Pa a Pi
Teacher Mikuláš Mysliveček has a considerably small salary at the music school. However, he also has a dominant fiancée, Simona, who is also a teacher and desperately longs for marriage. He also has an old eccentric father in a retirement home whom he still has to take care of. And last but not least, he owns a large dog which is a source of his constant mishaps and troubles. Mikuláš's good friend, bartender Viktor, advises him to make extra money as a paid companion (but not a gigolo), which means accepting an agency's offer to entertain and delight lonely ladies (without sex, of course). The shy teacher thus meets the bank director, the charming engineer Jiřina Suková, a divorced and emancipated woman with a seven-year-old son...

Piesočná potvorka (lit. The Sand Creature) is a 1985 Czech television miniseries based on Edith Nesbit's 1904 children's novel Five Children and It. The four Majer children—Janka, Braň, Cyril and Vladek—spend holidays together at a cottage, with their aunt Marta, who takes care of them in their parents' absence. One day, the older children decide to dig in an old sandbox and find an ancient wonder: Brontofusika, a prehistoric creature that can grant wishes. So Janka wishes that everyone would be as beautiful as the heroes from a fairy tale. It happens. No one recognizes the children in this disguise, not even their own aunt, which brings a lot of funny but also unpleasant situations. But the magic only works until sunset!

This fairy tale, based on a story by Oscar Wilde, begins on a stormy night when a woodcutter named Gordon finds a newborn baby in the forest. He names him Orion—child of the stars—and takes him home. Orion (played as an adult by J. Laštovka) grows up to be a very handsome boy, but unfortunately also conceited and cruel. One day, a beggar woman appears at the woodcutter's house and recognizes Orion as her lost son. Orion, who believes he is the child of a star, insults her badly and drives her away. Immediately, his face changes into a ridiculous and ugly one. After ten years of wandering, during which he learns many things, Orion falls into the power of an evil wizard who has a task for him. Completing this task will help the wizard rule the whole world. Orion must overcome evil spells and regain not only his beautiful face and pure soul, but also the love of his mother, whom he once proudly drove away.

It all starts when two men arrive at the asylum. Mr. Houdek, who goes to see little Honzik Slavata, the illegitimate child of his colleague, whom he wants to adopt, and young Standa Hurych, who takes up a position as a driver. The pretty nurse Magda mistakes Standa for his father and is angered by his reaction. However, when Mrs. Houdková insists that the adoption will not take place until the child's true father is known, Standa offers to help Magda track down the father. He immediately sets about the difficult task.
