What is March 8th? It's spring, the sun, tulips, mom's smile and the anticipation of falling in love and happiness. There is also a fuss, congratulations, queues in shops, flowers and an endless race for gifts. Every year, on this day, there is a global collapse in which everything is dedicated to women. The most ordinary people who face extraordinary situations, and unplanned meetings radically change their lives.
Made for the Venice Film Festival's 70th anniversary, seventy filmmakers made a short film between 60 and 90 seconds long on their interpretation of the future of cinema.
Ivan's cat suddenly dies - that is the only thing that connected him with his ex-wife, the separation from which he still cannot survive. In a Russian country house, two boys, Anton and Zhenya, shoot air rifles at bottles. Anton suddenly fires at a cat, shocking Zhenya. Their friendship becomes strained. Mathematics textbook for the 5th grade. According to the conditions of the problem, every day a Pedestrian goes from point "A" to point "B", on the way he meets a Cyclist. Then he returns home, where his faithful wife is waiting for him. The next day everything repeats. But one day the Investigator stops the Pedestrian and reports that the Cyclist has disappeared. The Investigator asks the Pedestrian to go with him to point "B" in order to interrogate witnesses and figure out this complicated story together.
