Biography
Thejasvi began his career directing and shooting music videos with Reggae artists such as Jimmy Cliff, Maxi Priest, Beenie Man and Steel Pulse. In 2009 Thejasvi was selected and accepted into an exclusive directing course at Central Film School in London, where he was trained in the art of Acting for the Screen in London and New York by Patrick Tucker, Anna Strasberg and the schools of David Mamet, Sanford Meisner, Stella Adler and Konstantin Stanislavski. After moving from the UK to Sarasota, Trishul Thejasvi founded Orensis Films in 2012, working to independently produce narratives that return to the purest intentions of cinema: telling a great story, visually. Fluidly working in almost every field from pre-production through post, Thejasvi is an accomplished director whose numerous shorts have found great acclaim and numerous awards and nominations, including 'Loved,' 'Sophie Hates Me,' and 'The Sunny Side.' In 2015 he produced and photographed the award-winning feature film, 'Monty Comes Back', and is producing the upcoming documentary 'Dreadtown' narrated by Danny Glover.
