It is the past that determines the future of Armenia, says a woman right at the beginning of the film. Much of what is said later in the film proves her right.

Silence and trivialities prevail in this standstill of the relationship. Only the woman's transformation in a gas station restroom from a conservative woman dominated by him to a self-confident and lascivious hitchhiker brings the actual desires and passions of the two to light.

After her father unexpectedly loses his job, 16 year-old Jessica feels the need to do something - something drastic. Her whole life begins to rearrange itself. The "good life" doesn't seem to matter anymore.
