"The Written Off" is a famous Serbian TV miniseries, that was very popular in former Yugoslavia, originally airing in 1974. Due to its popularity, Radio Television of Serbia has shown reruns of the series ten times, the last re-run starting in 2012. The series has achieved something of a cult status among its audience and still attracts an estimated 3 million viewers with its last rerun. Idea of series derives from exploits of freedom fighters in Belgrade during World War II, and all the characters and events are fictitious.

Vruć vetar is one of the most popular Yugoslav TV miniseries that aired in 1980. The show and movie cut from scenes of the show were popular in neighboring countries-also very popular in Czechoslovakia. Its main theme became very popular and enjoying a bit of a cult status. The story follows Shurda, a man in his 30s, who comes from a small town to Belgrade to get rich. However, as no job is good enough for him, he tries his luck in Germany, but this venture proves to be the same, so he returns to his native Yugoslavia.

TV series made as an extended version of an eponymous feature film. A quintet of small-time crooks that works under disguise of a musical band become the supporters of Partisan resistance movement in WW2. Being forced to escape to another part of the occupied territory, they hide in "Marlene Saloon" forgetting that the bordellos of the kind are an ideal place for espionage during the war. They get more problems than peace and rest and the tragicomedy starts.

Milorad is a young villager grown enough to marry, but his uncle Gvozden and grandpa Paun want to arrange him a marriage with Radmila, a girl from a wealthy family. He escapes to the big town, refusing to take part in it, but his adventure with a girl named Rozika ends up and he finds himself back in his village again.

Tom is a young guy from Zagreb, completely without money, trying to make films in Belgrade. He somehow manages to survive with a help of women. He doesn't believe in anybody, respects no one and is in constant conflict with the ruling system and order. After being left by a silly American girl, Tom binds with a woman whose husband is abroad. When she kicks him out, he moves in with her husband's sister, who later kills him in the attack of jealousy. All this is shown in the context of major historical events prior to 1968. with lots of archive footage of world leaders.

The main character of this TV drama is a musician and prominent citizen Dimkovic who wants to stay out of the war. Only when his daughter’s life becomes threatened does he hesitate, but his actions come too late.

October 20, 1944, Belgrade was liberated by Red Army and Tito's partisans. But the capital of Yugoslavia is still fraught with danger - retreating aggressor mined the city . A special partisan squad goes into underground maze of tunnels to find and disarm explosives which are still guarded by SS special forces.

A contemporary story of the film crew who visits the site in order to prepare for the shooting, where they fall into many situations that reflect local mentality.

A subtenant couple that tries unsuccessfully to have a baby and get the apartment decides to adopt one.

The title protagonist is Aleksandar Ignjatovic, a modest young man who spoke against the occupiers during the German occupation in the Second World War. In addition to the acted part, it also contains documentary segments, i.e. contemporary interviews with his friends, acquaintances and relatives.
