Rather coarse, pre-War comedy about a Markgraf -- Heinrich XXVI -- who bathes in the springs of the Ammendorf to strengthen his potency. The town and its springs are especially well known for the many couples with lots of children, who, for tax reasons, live there unmarried. The town smithy and bully provides his vitality to ensure the countess has an heir for the throne.

A taxi driver, (Piel), finds an odd contraption on the back seat that renders him invisible, but his friend steals the device to rob a bank. An inventive comedy.

iktor Werneberg is a widowed swimming instructor with three children, who meets the sophisticated Irene Müller advice column in a newspaper. Although the two strike up a bond he is concerned that his chaotic household, including a lazy uncle Paul and an domineering housekeeper Grete, will put Irene off.

Dr. Lorenz is presenting her married daughter to everyone as being unmarried, because she believes a flirtation between the girl and her son-in-law’s boss just might play to the married couple’s advantage. The Minerva Mines Company is interested in transporting two particularly valuable diamonds from Cape Town to Amsterdam. To confuse potential thieves, two detectives are sent on two different ships with steel suitcases and they have no clue whether they’re carrying pebbles or diamonds. Nevertheless, a collection of questionable characters come on board both ships. The hunt for the diamonds begins; the suitcases are stolen; everyone is suspect.

Leading lady Stradner later resettled in Hollywood, where she appeared in such films as The Last Gangster and Keys to the Kingdom.
