Guests with all sorts of circumstances come to this auberge at the farthest reaches, including an actress being criticized for reports of an affair, and a man faced with divorce on the day he reached the mandatory retirement age. Through their stay at Auberge Gilda, they become aware of life and are revitalized. Seeing this with her own eyes, Sumomo also has a change of heart. However, she learns about Yuko’s secret.

Ken was making his life by smuggling methamphetamine with long time buddy, Kazu. Ken has decided to start a new life when he learned that his girlfriend, Saki, became pregnant. At the same time, Ken finds out that Kazu started selling on the side without getting approval from his boss, Mr. Todo. Ken tries to stop Kazu; however, instead, Kazu approaches a new partner. Knowing that this new deal puts their lives in great danger once Mr. Todo finds out... Suspicious of their dangerous involvement, Saki decides to leaves Ken. One day, Tatsumi, a lonely underworld worker, comes across the murder scene of his ex-girlfriend Kyoko. Tatsumi escapes with Kyoko's younger sister, Aoi, who was with her. While her boyfriend Jun'ichi is out of town, college student and part-time model Yuri passes the time in Tokyo by shopping for luxury products, visiting affluent neighborhoods, eating expensive food, and seeking new kinds of entertainment. At a dance club she meets Masataka, to whom she describes her relatively frictionless life as "crystal". Yuri has a sexual encounter with Masataka that she enjoys but finds less satisfying than her experiences with Jun'ichi. When Jun'ichi returns, Yuri learns that he also was unfaithful during his trip, but she reflects on her financial independence and decides that staying with Jun'ichi is the best fit for her crystal lifestyle.
