This is the third time that Vik and his family have moved to a different city. Vik is a shy child who finds it hard to make new friends, and whenever he finally does start to open up to someone, his father's job inevitably causes the family to up sticks and relocate to a different part of the country, and Vik has to start all over again. Luckily for him, this time he soon meets Mai and Oto in the city park.

In the year 1512, two insects embark on an expedition that becomes the adventure of their lives.

Opil is a plump, 8-year-old boy. In a desperate attempt to stop him from wolfing down junk food, his mother serves him a special dish: the wish fish. But Opil takes it as a joke and wishes that mutant aliens come to Earth and take away all of the fish from the planet. The following day, the wish is fulfilled...and then some!

A stray cat, an oriental pigeon, an Eastern European rat and a Caribbean cockroach live on the streets. One night they have the chance to win the reward offered for Nora's (a lost cat) safe return.
