A well-educated family man realizes that his life is in crisis. Could the next generation do better?

The adventures of Paja and Jare, the two honest and good-natured truck drivers and partners in business. They meet various people while on the road, which mostly turns out bad for them, but at the end it's their friendship that saves the day.

TV series made as an extended version of an eponymous feature film. A quintet of small-time crooks that works under disguise of a musical band become the supporters of Partisan resistance movement in WW2. Being forced to escape to another part of the occupied territory, they hide in "Marlene Saloon" forgetting that the bordellos of the kind are an ideal place for espionage during the war. They get more problems than peace and rest and the tragicomedy starts.

Through the intimate stories of seven young directors, October is the generational attitude towards Serbia today, shown in different perspectives and through different genres - from black comedy to melodrama, poetic portrait to the socially engaged horror. Motif that binds all of the stories together is the tenth anniversary of the democratic revolution. Each film is taking place on that day, 5th of October in 2010, and each film is differently related to the anniversary and what that event means 10 years after. The film brings fresh visions of the seven young directors who were teenagers at the time of the overthrow of president Milosevic and his regime. On a personal and emotional way they show a complex picture of modern Serbia.

Everything happens during the course of a day. A toddler looks for his lost toy, some people look for their happiness, circling around in some kind of a lost kaleidoscope; they love and hate, suffer and enjoy, being that honest or fake, joyful or saddening. In the end, the boy finds his kaleidoscope, but the question remains if grownups have found their dreams, or at least their traces.

Buzga the shepherd, an object of ridicule among his fellow villagers, discovers his painting talent and becomes famous. Their envy leads them to paint themselves and try to outperform him, but after realizing that only Buzga's paintings are valued, they decide to steal his works.

A group of musicians, whose band is called "Balkan express", in fact a quintet of small-time crooks , trying to make some money in Nazi-occupied Serbia.

Kolja and Cveja, long-time friends and fellow actors are trying to cope with debt bondage, which led to Cveja's eviction from the apartment by the executor. Beside personal, family and business misfortunes, they will experience series of incredible events during one day. What will the next morning bring?

A pseudo-documentary which centers on the search for the hero from the title. Everyone has a different opinion about Filip, starting from his father to the woman he loved. The search shows that everyone has as many characters as there are people who know him.

Oppressed by the great sadness of the life, in her mid-30s Isidora agrees to marry the Polish doctor Emil Stremnicki without love. She lives with him for a short time in Norway. The writer reveals the complexity of the relationships that existed in her marriage, as well as inability to escape grief.
