Biography
Angelo Parker (real name Jeff Parker) is a veteran Canadian professional wrestler, best recognized for his work as one half of the popular tag team 2point0, and later as a key member of the villainous Jericho Appreciation Society (JAS) in All Elite Wrestling (AEW). Born on March 20, 1984, Parker debuted in professional wrestling around 2003 after being trained by legends like The Dudley Boyz. Parker's career has seen him use various names, including Jagged, Jean-Paul, and Scott Parker. For many years, Parker formed a highly successful tag team with his partner, Matt Menard (formerly known as Shane Matthews). They worked extensively on the independent circuit, particularly in their home province of Quebec and across North America, known as 3.0 and 2.0. During this time, they captured numerous championships, including the Chikara Campeonatos de Parejas (twice) and the IWS World Tag Team Championship (twice). Parker also held singles gold, winning the IWS Canadian Championship twice. In 2016, Parker and Menard signed with WWE, where they wrestled in NXT and on 205 Live under the team name Ever-Rise, using the names Chase Parker and Matt Martel. The duo was released in 2021 and quickly found a new home in All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and its sister promotion, Ring of Honor (ROH). Reverting to the name 2point0 and later being rebranded as Angelo Parker ("Cool Hand Ang") and Matt Menard ("Daddy Magic"), they aligned themselves with Chris Jericho to become founding members of the Jericho Appreciation Society (JAS), adopting the persona of sports entertainers rather than professional wrestlers. As part of JAS, Parker showcased his charisma in both comedic and antagonistic roles, frequently involving himself in high-profile feuds alongside Chris Jericho, Jake Hager, and Daniel Garcia. In a well-received on-screen storyline that transitioned into real life, Angelo Parker developed a relationship with fellow AEW wrestler, Ruby Soho. The two were married in 2024 and later announced that they were expecting their first child.
