An artist named Jiajia promised to show her girl friend Wei Ling around in Japan but eventually fails to show up for no reason. After Wei Ling goes and gets accommodated in a family-run hot spring hotel of Shimizu, Jiajia's Japanese boyfriend, she begins her endless weird experience as if she's haunted, and the hotel even sinks into a series of horrible homicides, in which the victims are all family members of the Shimizu's without exception. Every clue found is connected to Jiajia.

Li and Qian were police school classmates and friends. Li became a cop and Qian went to Japan for new development after graduation. Years later, they reunite on a case of counterfeit bank notes.

Feature film directed by Tang Huada and Yu Benzheng, starring Wu Haiyan and Ding Jiayuan. The film tells the story of actors from the film studio who went to live on the Yangtze River passenger ship, "Chaoyun," and hear a story about the joys and sorrows of brothers and sisters with different surnames that happened in the Three Gorges.
