Biography
Camila Cattai de Moraes (born 27 June 1991, Piracicaba) is a Brazilian filmmaker, playwright, cinematographer, sound designer, researcher, and lecturer, with a distinguished body of work in both cinema and the performing arts. She is a partner and director at the production company Kino Vertigem, leads the theatre company Cia de Teatro Právda, and teaches at the International Film Academy (AIC), the FAM University Centre, and in the postgraduate programme at Faculdade Rio Branco-GV. Her teaching encompasses subjects such as Cinematography, the History of Brazilian Cinema, Direct Sound Recording, Sound Design and Editing, Cinematic Language, and the History of World Cinema, establishing her as a prominent figure in film education in Brazil.
