When Emir Feofar Khan, leader of the Tartar hordes, takes up arms and invades the steppes of Eastern Siberia, Czar Alexander II of Russia entrusts the brave officer Michael Strogoff with a dangerous mission.

Everything happens during the course of a day. A toddler looks for his lost toy, some people look for their happiness, circling around in some kind of a lost kaleidoscope; they love and hate, suffer and enjoy, being that honest or fake, joyful or saddening. In the end, the boy finds his kaleidoscope, but the question remains if grownups have found their dreams, or at least their traces.

"The Time of Love" is omnibus of two parts. Part I: Experiences and growing up of a 16 years old girl without much of parents' attention. Part II: A brother looks for a husband for his sickly sister, but during that search she finds her true love.

Set in a spa motel during summer, this is a story about the fancy lifestyle which gives these personalities a chance to imitate better, fashionable world of Europe. Hence they become the victims of one such fashion, the victims of Goethe's "The Sorrows of Young Werther" and its influence on generations of young people.
