Chantz Simpson was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. He grew up being a dancer like his mother, mainly studying Hip Hop dance and also training in martial arts and gymnastics. He went to the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts to study theatre. There he found his passion for screen acting, musical theatre, rapping and singing. After being cast in "Grace"(abc pilot) with Carrie Ann Inaba, he continued to work on shows such as "Awkward", "The Thundermans", and "Grey's Anatomy".
