Sarikecilis are the last representatives in Anatolia of the centuries-old tradition of nomadism. Making their way to sea level in winter, and to the highlands in summer, they spend seven months of the year in transit, living off of the goats they keep. This documentary film is telling the story of the last Nomadic tribe in Anatolia within their natural habitat.

Two Istanbul thieves rob the house of prominent jeweler and make off with millions of lira in jewelry and cash. Back at their safehouse, they get little sleep after tensions rise over how they’ll divide the loot. In the morning, the matter is decided.

Nesrin is an urban, middle-class woman recovering from a divorce. She’s quit her office job, abandoned her house in Istanbul, and come to the village house of her deceased grandmother to finish a novel and live out her childhood dream of being a writer. When her conservative and increasingly unhinged mother turns up uninvited and refuses to leave, Nesrin’s writing stalls and her fantasies of village life turn bitter as the two are forced to confront the darker corners of each other’s inner worlds.

This film focused on the life of the people who were obligated to leave their hometown because of the war conditions in the region. Bıskov (button of trousers) earn his life by unchaining the domestic pigeons at the city centre. On the turning way to home, a few young guys call him to come their ruin. The things he experienced in this ruin and the words of his grand mother he heard when he arrive to home takes him to a turnout - the button of Trousers is broken

New Yorker Kathryn has the deadly disease ALS and is completely paralyzed. She can only communicate by pointing out letters with her eyes on a special keyboard and she needs 24-hour care. It’s a horrific situation that Kathryn puts into words incisively and pragmatically. The only reason she hasn’t asked to be taken off life support yet, she says, is that she isn’t ready to say goodbye to her children. She wants at least to experience her daughter Minou’s wedding day.
