In the aftermath of the death of the filmmaker Chantal Akerman on October 5th, 2015 ten directors remember, rethink and reoccupy in their own way the imagination of the Belgian director. A small collective tribute from Barcelona and Iruña, made with love.

A road movie in reverse across Europe: Jola Wieczorek traces her family’s past from Poland to the idyllic Salzkammergut. The documentary The Days Yet Unknown is a moving portrait of origin, displacement, and the question of what home truly means.

The Mediterranean has always played a central role in our world. It is crossed, made use of, enjoyed, feared and loved every day, every night. Stories from the Sea portrays women aboard three vessels who experience the Mediterranean Sea as a place of longing, a place of work, or a scene of human encounters. The all-encompassing waters, unceasing waves and distant horizons are elements that link the protagonists, regardless of their motivation to go out to sea.

Época Baixa shows places left behind by tourists during the Off Season in Portugal. We still can sense the colourful days of summers past. The tourists have left their traces. Sometimes we can even hear them, like ghost voices, from the far distance.
