In 2011, Buck began a documentary on Michael Mann's unreleased film "The Keep," exploring Mann's creative process over eight years. He aims for a non-traditional approach similar to documentaries like "Hearts of Darkness." His second documentary examines the societal backdrop of Michael Wadleigh's film "Wolfen." In 2017, he helped revive Eric Bogosian's acclaimed play "Talk Radio" for its 30th anniversary in London.
