Created by Ricardo Ghiorzi ("The Curse of Sanguanel", "Beyond the Grave"), HISTÓRIAS ESTRANHAS (Stranger Tales) is a suspense/horror/fantasy collection of eight segments produced by independent film companies and directed by the most promising filmmakers of the Brazilian fantastic genre today.

After a hideous crime in a mansion by the forest, where a group of young people was found murdered, a suspicious clown tries to prove his innocence to the investigator that found him covered in blood.

Amidst feet coming and going, colors and violin strings, the shoemaker of a small village searches for the perfect pair, in a fable of love and shoes.

The relationship between Cuban doctors and their own country, its authorities and their families. It also explores the relationship between them and their patients in Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba, the United States, Portugal and Sierra Leone, shedding light on this internationalist project that Cubans have been developing since the 60s of the last century and which seems to contradict the dominant rules in the systems of public health.

A grieving father goes after the one responsible for the death of his daughter and discovers secrets that the young girl had hidden before she died. His search takes him to a nightclub where an enigmatic host promises to help him in exchange for something. Little did the father know the consequences of this agreement.

A priest spends his days praying masses and listening to the confessions of the few remaining faithful. One day a devil is sent to the city to torment the parish, but he asks the priest for help because he no longer wants to do evil.
