A novelist moves to a small town to write her next novel. She seeks inspiration and as time goes by she gathers information about her neighbor, a young, wealthy man whom she observes, as well as photographs, from her window. She soon finds herself a suspect in a murder investigation due to suspicious circumstances involving her odd behavior and reclusive lifestyle. She must fight to demonstrate her innocence.

Sisters Kate and Megan attend their local wedding fair they jokingly enter a dream wedding package even though they are not getting married. Surprise the sisters win and now must put on a show or be mortified by their champagne decisions.

While traversing the legendary "Snowman's Pass" to search for her missing fiancé, Diana discovers the search is a decoy; they are in fact hunting for a fallen spy satellite, property of an enemy foreign power.

When competing candy company representatives, accidently mix their candies the night before the competition, a new and even better tasting winning candy is created. The owners of the company find out but only one rep gets fired. When the owners try unsuccessfully to recreate the winning candy, they quickly find they have to rehire the old employee to help recreate the winning candy.

Paul Venters is a self-centered plastic surgeon who is soon to be married to beautiful Susan, but doesn't get along very well with his fiancée's family, particularly Susan's brother Marty, an ex-con who is trying to stay clean after beating a nasty drug habit. To appease his future wife, Paul tries to mend fences with Marty by inviting him along for a camping trip in the Canadian wilderness.
