Between the first and second World Wars, we portray glorified and renown naval sea officer Felix Graf von Lucker and his fictitious ship Niobe, which is the 1887 built Amphitrite from Southampton. Von Luckner is famous for his tactical genius in the first World War, especially sinking 14 enemy ships and only losing one crewman, whilst always seeking a peaceful outcome - making him the ideal seaman.

Legend has it that a brisk wind called the "Faun" delivers vigor to the men of Falklenhousen - accounting for the town's satisfied wives and high birth rate. Truth is, when the men are away, their voluptuous wives play!

Three episodes depict events that actually took place in the years before the film was made. Three true‐life dramas explore teacher–student taboos: 1. Monika: A young teacher’s love for his pregnant 17‐year‐old student leads to his self‐incrimination amid legal peril. 2. Sybille: A 15‐year‐old fabricates a scandalous affair with her bachelor principal, ending in his suicide. 3. Fantasie: A 13‐year‐old boy’s infatuation with his teacher drives him to violence and a troubled return to reality.

A student, tired of a too well-mannered fiancé, loses a virginity she considers very embarrassing in the arms of a forty-year-old man, before finding love with a repentant gigolo.

In a big city Edith K., called "Madame", runs her fashion salon. She plans to spend the coming weekend with a friend and her models in her villa in the countryside to indulge in lesbian tastes while having good meals.
