Biography
Wendy Jacobson is a Production & Development Executive at Marvel Studios. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in History and Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), completing her studies between 2004 and 2007. Following her graduation, Jacobson began her career as an intern at Village Roadshow from September 2007 to June 2008. In June 2008, she joined the Creative Artists Agency as an assistant, a position she held until October 2009. Jacobson then served as Executive Assistant to the CEO at Contrafilm LLC from October 2009 to July 2011. In August 2011, she joined the Flynn Picture Company, where she spent nearly eight years and progressed through a series of increasingly senior roles. She began as a Story Editor, a position she held until December 2012. In January 2013, she was promoted to Creative Executive, a role she held until October 2014. Her success in that role led to her promotion to Director of Development, a position she held from October 2014 to June 2015. Jacobson was named Vice President at the Flynn Picture Company in June 2015. She held this role until June 2017, when she became the company’s Senior Vice President. In this role, which she held until May 2019, she was responsible for overseeing significant development and production initiatives, playing a key role in shaping the company’s slate and guiding projects from conception through completion. She joined Marvel Studios in June 2019.
