The Makai fight a secret war against the demon forces known as Horrors, evil creatures that manifest themselves through darkness to devour Humanity. On the frontlines are the Makai Knights, given the task of watching over a district and eliminating any Horrors that manifest there. GARO follows the tales of the Knights bearing the title of ‘Golden Knight Garo’, and their duty to vanquish the Horrors and protect Humanity from the darkness.

Rei Suzumura continues to hunt Horrors in a certain city. One day, he meets a young woman in love with photography, Alice Hiromi. After witnessing Makai Knight ZERO in action, she develops an interest in Rei. Meanwhile, a carriage crosses a far away bridge. The carriage contains a coffin in which a man lies. That man is none other than the Dragon Knight, who used the power of Dragons to hunt Horrors.

A quiet woman receives a social media request from a middle-school friend, who she doesn’t remember fondly. The two meet at a hotel’s restaurant where they find a room numbered 666 containing Rokuroku, a long-neck woman wearing a red kimono.
