Herbert José de Sousa, known as Betinho, (Bocaiúva, November 3, 1935 – Rio de Janeiro, August 9, 1997) was a Brazilian sociologist and human rights activist. He conceived and dedicated himself to the project Citizenship Action against Hunger, Poverty and for Life.
