Pastewka is a German television sitcom that began airing on German TV channel Sat.1 in 2005. The series, currently in its sixth season, is set in Cologne, with German actor Bastian Pastewka starring as a fictionalized version of himself. It has been compared to Seinfeld and Larry David's Curb Your Enthusiasm. The series was awarded, among others, the Rose d'Or and the German Television Prize. Series was directed by Joseph Orr and Jan Markus Linhof.
Hausmeister Krause – Ordnung muss sein is a German sitcom with Tom Gerhardt in the title role, shown from 1999 through 2010 on Sat.1. The series parodies typical German "squareness". Half-day janitor Dieter Krause is the embodiment of the German "square"; he is pernickety, blindly follows order, denounces others, is nosy, consistently puts his own interests above all else, acts subservient to his superiors and is brutish and unjust to those he deemes below him. Many plot elements — mishaps, misunderstandings, and frequent cases of mistaken identity — originate from Boulevard theatre. The characters in the series borrow heavily from those in Tom Gerhardt's film Voll normaaal, in many cases sharing names. In Voll normaaal, Tom Gerhardt played the roles of both Dieter and Tommie Krause; in Hausmeister Krause, Tommie was played by Axel Stein. Daughter Carmen is played by Janine Kunze. Other characters from Voll normaaal, such as Tommie's friend Mario, are relegated to the status of background characters. The scope of action also changed.
Menzinger, an easy-going mechanic, is appointed as a juror by the Munich District Court. With no way to avoid the assignment and no possibility of negotiation with recently transferred judge, Dr. Julia Kellermann, Charlie reluctantly resigns himself to his fate. Instead of continuing in his life as a mechanic, lying under old Italian sports cars of his friend Xaver, Charlie quickly realises that his new position offers certain advantages. His time as a lay judge, however, may change him more than he could imagine.

In order to leave a lasting impression in space, Dr. Georg Friedle and his team of researchers include a condensed version of world history with the 1977 Voyager mission. However, their attempt to present themselves as an intelligent and empathic race backfires unchecked: their version presents a completely insane species whose development is apparently based on pure luck rather than solid reason. A planet where Greek philosophers are celebrated as rap stars, religion is touted as a clever marketing concept, stag parties serve as a secret weapon in the First World War and the construction of the Great Wall of China is a misunderstanding of honest Berlin craftsmanship. Even the revelation of the alleged true background to the assassination attempt on Hitler is likely to make experienced historians see the end of humanity as a mere matter of time.
After a life-threatening operation, Hubert and Girwidz try to clear their minds on a mountain hike. At boundary marker 147, they come across two bodies — one on the German side and the other on the Austrian side.
During the Christmas holidays, Hubert and Staller investigate the demise of an elderly pensioner who died suspiciously but unnoticed a year earlier.
