Triplemanía Regia II was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event by AAA that was originally scheduled to take place on October 10, 2020 but was postponed and later cancelled on November 30 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, on October 18, 2021, AAA announced that the event would be occurring on December 4 at the Estadio de Béisbol Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. It marked the 29th year in a row that AAA has held a Triplemanía show, and the 36th overall show held under the Triplemanía banner since 1993.

Triplemanía XXXIII was the premier annual supercard of Lucha Libre AAA World Wide (AAA), held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico. This event marked a historic shift, as it was the very first Triplemanía staged under the ownership and creative influence of WWE, following their acquisition of AAA on August 1, 2025.

The World Wrestling Peace Festival was a professional wrestling supercard event produced by Japanese professional wrestler Antonio Inoki, which took place on June 1, 1996 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena in Los Angeles, California. The event was organized by Inoki to promote world peace with an interpromotional event involving major promotions from around the world. Forty wrestlers from six countries ended up taking part in the event. Inoki's home promotion New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW), as well as smaller independent groups, represented Japan, while World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) took part on behalf of the United States. Both of Mexico's top promotions Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA) and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) participated in the event, which was considered unlikely by many in the industry given their own heated rivalry.

Triplemanía VIII was the eighth Triplemanía professional wrestling show promoted by AAA. The show took place on July 5, 2000 in Tokyo, Japan. It was only the second show to take place outside Mexico and the first show to take place in Japan. The Main event featured an Eight-man "Atómicos" tag team match which saw AAA regulars team up with various Japanese wrestlers. The team of Octagón, Jushin Thunder Liger, Latin Lover, and El Alebrije took on Cibernético, Cima, Abismo Negro, and Electroshock.

The annual Triplemanía show is AAA's biggest show of the year, serving as the culmination of major storylines and feature wrestlers from all over the world competing in what has been described as AAA's version of WrestleMania or their Super Bowl event.

The CMLL 85th Anniversary Show was a major professional wrestling event produced by the Lucha Libre wrestling company El Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) that took place on September 14, 2018 in CMLL's home arena Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico.

CMLL presented its annual Día de Muertos Viernes Espectacular on October 31, 2025, from Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico. The show featured a mix of tradition, spectacle, and high stakes matches tied to the holiday’s mystique. In the Main Event, Sky Team (Mistico, Máscara Dorada, & Neon) clashed with Hechicero, Volador Jr., & Bárbaro Cavernario in a high-energy trio's bout. The Semi-Main events was a dramatic Fatal 4-Way match for the Rey del Inframundo Championship Match, as defending champion Difunto battled challengers Guerrero Maya Jr., Villano III Jr., and Adrenalina.
