He refused to take her with him to Kuwait. On another visit, he searched for her but did not find her. She had immigrated with her child (Youssef) to England due to the war. However, when (Youssef) grew up, he searched for his father and found him in Kuwait. The play revolves around when (Youssef) visited his father in Kuwait to get to know him and his family members, but the difference in civilizations between Kuwait and England caused many problems.
