Mona Martí was born on July 8, 1901 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. She was an actress and political activist, known for Maruja (1959), Maten al león (1977) and El retrato de Ángela (1966). She died on March 22, 1985 in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico.
