In 2026, broadcaster PowNed, in collaboration with producer NewBe, will bring the brand-new fictional series "Bovensloters" to NPO Start. This gritty crime series, infused with Brabant humor, promises to be a unique combination of suspense and satire. In "Bovensloters," we follow Jamie, played by Na Young Jeon. Jamie, a Korean-Dutch anthropologist from the Randstad, becomes entangled in the death of Brabant underworld boss Jacques van Iersel (Jochen Otten) through a series of bizarre events. With no way out, she ends up at the remote farm of the mysterious Petra (Margôt Ros), where Jamie discovers a dark side of herself—and becomes dangerously enthusiastic about it.

Akiko is standing in an endless, black and empty space. As if she wakes up and finding herself in a different sense of being, she reconstructs herself and her surroundings. Different elements from her surroundings come into view; the road, the grass and the streetlights. Akiko watches and experiences everything in a very intense way, as if she has never seen the world before. She has no idea of existence. When all the elements are there, the world is not as pure as Akiko has always felt.
