Biography
Michael Tyburski is a filmmaker and commercial director. His work has been featured on The New Yorker, Indiewire, NOWNESS, Short of the Week, and in Filmmaker Magazine, which named him amongst the “25 New Faces of Independent Film.” He directed and co-wrote the short film, “Palimpsest,” which won a Special Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival, and his short documentary, “Brooklyn Farmer,” screened at the San Sebastian Film Festival as part of the Culinary Zinema section, presented in conjunction with the Berlinale. His short, “Actor Seeks Role,” won the Grand Jury Prize at IFFBoston and was selected by The New Yorker as part of their Screening Room series.
